a rock. no - we met on a lonely deserted
road. It was pitch black... your two red
eyes were bouncing towards me.. I stood
there with my mouth open.. you came closer &
closer.. I said, aaaaa Ricky! and you stuck
you fangs into my neck. well I have a bad
memory, but best I recall... I was in your
loft downtown, LA (1986).. I was staying the
night, we had just shot with Albert
Sanchez.... thats the first I remember.

t-shirts?
Tony Ward: I wanted to create my own
look. I didnt want to dress in other peoples
BS, (bullshit), anymore. I wanted to create
my own BS!

Tony Ward: Its a lyric of my friend Dirt
Nastys, (former actor Simon Rex) old song.
6 RC: what is your goal for the line?
Tony Ward: To create my own army of sick &
twisted free dreamers. to destroy fashion,
and out of the ashes will come SIX IN THE
FACE!
7 RC: do you plan to do more?
Tony Ward: Yeah, Im, working on new deal
with Japan. A Japanese manufacturer &
distributor

public?
Tony Ward: homeless chic
12 RC: tell me about your current film
project?
Tony Ward: The working title is The
Story of Jen.The film is directed & written
by Francois Rotger, (The Passenger, 2005),
loosely based on true story, about a 15 year
old girl, (Laurence Leboeuf) whose father
committed suicide and shes left alone. I
play a farmhand who comes to help out. .. a
relationship starts between us and leads
to.... you have to see the film.
13 RC: tell me about the director
Tony Ward: Francois was fashion
photographer. A long time ago we did a test
for French Vogue, and I hadnt seen him
since. He was casting for his new film. A
bunch of Hollywood biggies like Barry Pepper
were up for the part. outta the blue my name
came up and he gave me a call.. over the
phone we sealed the deal..Francois flew me
out one week later.. no screen test. we
vibed.. it felt good.. It is a thrill to be
in a foreign film its actually bilingual,
French and English.
14 RC: where did you film?
Tony Ward: Most of the film was shot
on location in Quebec, the southern part,
farmland country. the last week in
wilderness north of Quebec. And the CGI-
special effects will be done in Paris.
15 RC: what will you be wearing?
Tony Ward: very interesting.. Francois didnt
want me to be cool/hip at all. He didnt want
people to perceive me the way I usually am.
As a model. fashion etc.. Its more
anti-fashion.. I never change clothes.
plaid- shirt, jeans.. scruffy beard.
16 RC: will you be fucking or killing anyone
in this film?
Tony Ward: Umm.. yah, I am harming people
physically, mentally & sexually, however
this is not a Hollywood film. Theres allot
of mystery. Its left up to the viewers
imagination. But I do kill a deer fuck em.
17 RC: what are you most recent campaigns/
shoots?
Tony Ward: Belvedere Vodka, shot by Terry
Richardson, a shoot for a tattoo magazine
called INK. A portrait for Italian Max..and
a portrait for a Vietnamese magazine. I cant
remember the name; Mitchell McCormick shot
it. The photos will also come out in ID or
some other mag. Oh, and Adriano Goldschmied
campaign - AG Jeans.
18 RC: any new ones in the future?
Tony Ward: Nothing yet.. but you watch! Im
going to Miami to do International Vogue
with Jack Pierson.
19 RC: how would you like people to see Tony
Ward?
Tony Ward: As an animal.. yah.. take your
pic.. whatever you desire.
20 RC: what do you want the readers to know
about you?
Tony Ward: umm....thats interesting...umm.
more than anything Ive had the student
turned on to me. Im all about learning,
teaching and all about doing it shut the
fuck up and do it, reader.. have a happy
