MR.WARD TAKES A
SHIT! |

|
Recently Mr.Ward visited Hollywoods
Art-Gallery ANTEBELLUM to do an interview
with owner Rick Castro for a german
magazine, that will be published 2008.
Later that afternoon Mr.Ward was found being
part of his own art installation, sitting in
the "Tony Ward Toilet", the shrinenatic
little place in the Antebellum Gallery,
photographed by and with Mr.Castro.
Being bearded now for a while, Mr.Ward told
us that it thickles bad and he's happy to
shave it of as soon as the fimming for the
movie "Story of Jen" will be over.

The Tony Ward toilet is the restroom at
Antebellum Gallery in Hollywood.
The
TWT (Tony
Ward Toilet) is a working
toilet which is also a permanent exhibit at
antebellum gallery. The TWT is curated by
Tony Ward himself, the exhibit changes
whenever Mr.Ward is in the mood to do so.
ALL the images in the TWT are of
Tony Ward,
including images by Rick Castro, Jim French,
Herb Ritts, Greg Gorman, photographer Tony
Ward, (the other one), Steven Meisel,
Michael Gregg Michaud, Jeff Clarke and
self-portraits by Mr Ward himself including
signed underwear!
Antebellum Gallery owner and curator Rick
Castro says, " I've had people from as far
away as Helsinki, Finland and Santa Rosa, CA
make pilgrimages here to the TWT. I'm
thinking of installing a rented audio tour
so visitors can listen to a guided tour of
the TWT just like they do at other museums.

Story of Jen
is set in a
fantastic, green, hilly landscape in Quebec. Jen
(Laurence Leboeuf) is 16 years old. She has
already accumulated a small collection of
disasters in her young life. Her father recently
committed suicide, and now she lives with her
mother, Sara, (Marina Hands) at the end of the
motorway in poverty. Ian (Tony Ward) enters
their lives. Everything about Ian reminds Jen of
her father. Jen becomes enamored with Ian, and
as her feelings grow stronger, she realizes
there is something special she wants to share
with him one day. But Ian is going to steal it
from her, before he runs away. And then begins a
pitiless manhunt. |

Laurence Leboeuf is a Canadian born
actress with numerous film and television
credits. |
|
Marina Hands is a French actress with
many film credits. In 2007, Hands won the Cesar,
Lumiere, Etoiles d’or for Best Actress, and won
the Best Actress Award at the Tribeca Film
Festival, all for the film Lady Chatterley. |
